Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist. Sarah takes an integrated and person-centered approach with her clients, drawing from various theories to find a unique fit that is best suited to the needs of her clients.

Sarah has a background working with adults and adolescents experiencing various forms of anxiety and depression, and has experience assisting clients with processing past trauma, increasing self-compassion, developing coping skills, processing life transitions, relational issues, and walking through grief. Sarah also works with couples and has completed her Level 1 Gottman Training, using this approach in her sessions with clients.

Sarah uses a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on increasing psychological flexibility and creating room to accept and work through our emotions, creating healthy space and distance between ourselves and our thoughts. Sarah also incorporates mindfulness and self-compassion into her work and uses some Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Sarah believes that each client is on a unique journey and places emphasis on feedback and finding the right fit for individual treatment, as everyone’s path to wellness is shaped differently.

She is offering in person and Telehealth services (both telephone and secure video).
