Grief refers to the feelings you experience when you have a loss. These include sadness, emptiness, anger, loneliness, despair, fear, and desperation. When we experience grief, loss, or bereavement, there are physical and emotional responses which include: physical pain, numbness, apathy, withdrawal, disbelief, confusion, panic, fear, anxiety, despair, guilt, regression, irritability, obsessive thinking, and denial.
What is grief, loss/ bereavement counselling?
Counselling is aimed at helping you deal with your grief and find closure by helping you develop coping skills for what is inevitably a very difficult time in your life.
